On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in Room 1324 Longworth House Office Building, the Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples of the United States (SCIP) will hold a legislative hearing on the following bills:H.R. 4059 (Rep. Raul Ruiz), To take certain lands in California into trust for the benefit of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, and for other purposes. H.R. 4495 (Rep. Raul Ruiz), To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Director of the Indian Health Service, to acquire private land to facilitate access to the Desert Sage Youth Wellness Center in Hemet, California, and for other purposes. H.R. 4888 (Rep. Kurt Schrader), To amend the Grand Ronde Reservation Act, and for other purposes. H.R. 5153 (Rep. Don Young), Indian Buffalo Management Act.
