First Nation homes at high risk of asbestos exposure


The Canadian government has identified 11 First Nation families at high risk of asbestos exposure but isn't doing anything to address the problem.

Health Canada inspected homes in dozens of Native communities and found significant health risks. But the government says it won't provide money to clean up contaminated housing.

Native leaders say the government has a legal obligation to fix the problem.
