City approves agreement with Suquamish Tribe


The city council in Poulsbo, Washington, unanimously approved memorandum of understanding with the Suquamish Tribe.

The agreement is aimed at improving communication between the city and the tribe. The two have had disagreements in the past about land use and the environment.

The agreement recognizes the sovereignty of each government.
