Vice president of First Nations University fired

The vice president of the First Nations University of Canada was fired last week, the latest in a leadership shakeup that has left faculty and staff with low morale.

No reason was given for the firing of Wes Stevenson. He had been suspended along with two other executives back in February.

The board of directors has launched an outside review of the school's finances. Some students and faculty say the moves are politically motivated.
