Blackfeet council sets hearing to remove member

A council member for the Blackfeet Nation faces removal due to alleged conflicts of interest.

Sam "Pat" Schildt was suspended last month for his relationships with oil and gas companies. He admits to advising them about how to deal with land issues on the reservation.

The council says Schildt is violating his duties because some of the companies have contracts with the tribe. A hearing will be held February 21 to consider the charges.
