D-Q University supporters meet to discuss future

Supporters of D-Q University met on Monday to discuss the future of California's only tribal college.

The school lost accreditation last year and federal funds. Students have been sent home and the campus is empty.

An attempt to put D-Q back on track failed when people questioned the leadership of interim president Art Apodaca. They said he didn't pay the bills and put his family on the payroll.

Supporters don't know when D-Q will reopen but they are hoping to install a new board of trustees.
