Arigon Starr in consideration for Grammy nod

The soundtrack to Arigon Starr's one-woman play is being considered for a Grammy nomination, The Native American Times reports.

The Kickapoo/Creek diva earned rave reviews for "The Red Road." She played all the characters in the show and performed all the songs.

The soundtrack is now in the first round consideration for Best Musical Show Album. "It just blew me away to be in that category," Starr told The Native Times. "That made me really proud."
