The Indian Land Tenure Foundation is screening a new documentary about Indian land issues this Friday in Rapid City, South Dakota.

"American Indian Homelands: Matters of Truth, Honor and Dignity � Immemorial" documents the history of Indian land policy in the U.S. It is narrated by ABC News correspondent Sam Donaldson and explores issues like fractionation, probate and the Cobell v. Norton trust fund lawsuit.

Co-producers Barry ZeVan of Minneapolis and James Rattling Leaf of the Sicangu Policy Institute at Sinte Gleska University will be on hand to discuss the film at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. A potluck is being held in conjunction with the screening.

Also on Saturday, ZeVan and Rattling Leaf will hold a question-and-answer session at the Borders bookstore at 2130 Haines Ave from 7-8pm.

KOTA-TV Channel 3 is broadcasting the documentary at 2pm on Saturday as well.
