Census Bureau data shows racial disparities

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows disparities among racial and ethnic groups in Oklahoma.

According to the 2005 American Community Survey, American Indians and Alaska Natives are more likely to have high school diplomas than the average Oklahoman but less likely to have college degrees. They are twice as likely than whites to have no vehicle.

Almost 92 percent of Oklahoma Indians speak only English, the Census Bureau reported.
