Reed Robinson, Rosebud, named superintendent at Devils Tower

Reed Robinson, a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, has been named superintendent of Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming.

Robinson will take over November 18. He replaces Dorothy FireCloud, also Rosebud Sioux.

"Reed brings more than two decades of diverse and wide-ranging experience in natural and cultural resources management to this position,” National Park Service Intermountain Regional Director John Wessels said in a press release, The Butte County Post reported.

FireCloud is now serving as superintendent of Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments in Arizona.
