Fort Robinson Outbreak Spiritual Run set for Jan. 9

FORT ROBINSON, Neb. –– An experience that is said to transform the lives of the youth that participate is scheduled to begin this week at Crawford Community Center near Fort Robinson, Nebraska.

Yellow Bird, an affiliate of Seventh Generation Fund, will be sponsoring the 20th Annual Fort Robinson Outbreak Spiritual Run.

The event will begin with the Outbreak Spiritual Run Day of Education January 9, at the Crawford Community Center 9 a.m. The public is invited.

Featured speakers will include Naelyn Pike and Miss Indian World, Cheyenne Brady.

“Naelyn Pike is a young Chricauhua Apache warrior woman, standing up for her beliefs and not afraid to share her voice with others. She is part of the Apache Stronghold to protect Oak Flat. She is also a young woman that loves to play basketball,” said Lynette Two Bulls organizer of the event. “Yellow Bird, SGF Affiliate is so fortunate that she we be sharing her powerful message to the youth on the 20th Annual Fort Robinson Youth to youth mentorship.”
