NOVEMBER 1, 2000 The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma is just one of the latest parties considering a casino in the Catskills region of New York. The tribe is exploring a casino deal with a county there. Along with the Seneca Nation of New York, both tribes have won their land claim against the state and might open a casino on land purchased or transferred to the them. The St. Regis Mohawk of New York, the Mohican Tribe of Wisconson, and the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut have all been considering a casino in the Catskills.
