Tribes seek more input into Army Corps decisions

Tribes along the Missouri River hope a new agreement will give them a greater say in decisions by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Programmatic Agreement replaces and older document that didn't include tribal participation in how the Corps manages the river. Thousands of burial grounds and sacred sites are located along the river. There are 22 tribes along the river that are being asked to sign the agreement. Get the Story:
