Action promised on First Nations University

Government officials plan to take more action to address turmoil at the First Nations University of Canada.

Federal and provincial officials have been quiet about the controversy that has affected the school in recent months. Several top executives have been fired or suspended amid financial and management problems.

Indian Affairs Minister Andy Scott and Saskatchewan Learning Minister Andrew Thomson met on Wednesday to discuss FNUC. They plan to work with the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations.
