Educators gather for Indian conference in Billings


A two-day conference at Montana State University in Billings is aimed at helping educators fulfill the state's Indian Education For All Act.

All public schools are required to teach about Indian culture and history under the act. The Indian Education For All Institute offers teaching strategies, curriculum ideas and teaching methods for educators.

The institute began on Monday. It is sponsored by Little Big Horn College, the tribal college on the Crow Reservation.
