Festival benefits Wiyot Tribe's sacred site fund

The fifth annual Native American Performance Festival takes place tonight in Blue Lake, California.

The festival is a benefit for the Wiyot Tribe's Sacred Site Fund. The tribe raises money to reacquire and restore important cultural sites, such as Indian Island.

This year's headliner is Ojibwe singer/songwriter Keith Secola. Seminole/Menominee comedian Mitch Factor and drum group Thoz Womenz are also on the bill.

The performance takes place at the Blue Lake Casino on the Blue Lake Rancheria. For more information visit http://www.wiyot.com/tickets.htm and http://www.wiyot.com/benefit_05.htm.
