Janklow disconnects his home phone line in D.C.

Rep. Bill Janklow (R), former governor of South Dakota, returned to Washington, D.C., on Monday to continue work in the U.S. Congress.

Janklow has been charged with second-degree manslaughter for a traffic fatality. A car he was driving hit and killed a motorist August 16.

Janklow has not said anything about the accident or the charges. He has disconnected the phone line at his apartment, The Sioux Falls Argus Leader reported
