TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2002

A North Carolina judge ordered an Eastern Cherokee man to turn over any revealing photos he may have of a Lumbee woman who was barred from the Miss America pageant over the debacle.

Tosh Welch failed to show up for yesterday's court hearing. He lives on the Eastern Cherokee reservation.

Rebekah Revels was forced to resign her state beauty title after Welch said he had the photos. The Miss America pageant wouldn't allow her to compete.
