A New Mexico woman is suing Ohkay Owingeh in state court over a disputed $2.6 million "jackpot."
Cathy Torres was playing a slot machine at the Ohkay Casino Resort in September 2008 when she said she won the money. But casino officials said the machine malfunctioned.
Torres is being represented by an attorney who filed a similar suit against Sandia Pueblo. The case was dismissed on sovereign immunity grounds.
