Omaha Tribe gets ready to reopen casino after nearly two years

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska is getting ready to reopen its gaming facility in Iowa.

The tribe closed CasinOmaha on June 30, 2009. There were fears that it would never reopen but a grand opening has been set for December 15.

"Now its a bigger and better casino and its going to stay that way. We're going to be the friendliest casino in the state," executive Bill Walsh told KTIV.

The tribe made some renovations to the facility, which will offer 260 gaming machines.
