Sen. McCain questions law firm that receives casino revenue

It looks like Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona), who led the Congressional investigation into Jack Abramoff, has found a new target.

McCain is asking the National Indian Gaming Commission to explain how a firm owned by a non-Indian attorney received a share of tribal casino revenues. Howard Dickstein reportedly received $26 million over six years from the casino owned by the United Auburn Indian Community of California.

The tribe recently ended the arrangement. But Dickstein's firm still receives a flat fee of $80,000 a month.

The Sacramento Bee also reported that Dickstein received $18 million from the casino owned by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
