Two other Muscogee tribal towns already in casino industry


Two of the three Creek tribal towns are in the Indian gaming business, with the third hoping to join them soon.

The Alabama-Quassarte Tribal Town operates the Redhawk Gaming Center in Wetumka. The small, Class-II only facility is on a restricted Indian allotment, according to The Tulsa World.

The Thlopthlocco Tribal Town operates the much larger Golden Pony Casino near Okemah. The facility is on land held in trust for the tribe, according to the paper.

The Kialegee Tribal Town plans to open the Red Clay Casino on an Indian allotment near Broken Arrow. The project has generated significant controversy in the state.
