Crow Creek Tribe to replace dorm destroyed by fire

The Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota says it will cost $2.2 million to replace a student dormitory that was destroyed by a fire on Sunday.

The tribe hopes to have the new dorm ready by the start of the fall term. More than 200 students will need a place to stay while they attend school.

Everything -- including the students' belonging, was lost in the fire. A Crow Creek School Relief fund has been set up at the Wells Fargo bank in South Dakota. Clothing donations are being accepted at the Crow Creek Elementary School.
