Cheyenne-Arapaho official faces banishment

A business committee member for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma faces banishment of up to 15 years after being convicted of embezzling $55,015.
Roy Dean Bullcoming was found guilty of taking the money last week. He was ordered to spend 4 1/2 years in jail and pay restitution to the tribe.
The tribal judge, however, delayed a request to banish Bullcoming for 12 to 15 years. The issue will be taken up at an October 12 sentencing hearing.
