Former Sac and Fox leader eyes Hall of Fame slot

Dora Young, the first woman to win election to lead an Oklahoma tribe, says she should be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

Young was elected chairwoman of the Sac and Fox Nation in 1973. She preceded Wilma Mankiller, the first woman to lead the Cherokee Nation, by over a decade.

Mankiller has been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Young says she deserves the same honor.
