Mental evaluation ordered in Wind River murder trial

A woman from the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming is undergoing a court-ordered mental evaluation.

Lila K. Goggles, 47, is charged with first-degree murder for the death of 22-month-old Tyraine Wanstall. She is accused of killing the boy on the reservation last November.

Goggles was set to go to trial April 2. But Judge William Downes ordered a 45-day mental evaluation, which began April 19.

Goggles is a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
