Bill helps Coquille Tribe with development

The House Natural Resources Committee will hold a hearing on Wednesday on a bill to help the Coquille Tribe of Oregon develop some of its property.

H.R.2683 allows the tribe to lease, sell or otherwise convey its property without federal involvement. The land in question will be used for a shopping center.

The bill is one of four on the agenda for tomorrow's hearing.
