The South Dakota Department of Education is holding an Indian education summit September 19-21 in Rapid City.
The "Our Voice. Your Voice. One Voice" summit will focus on how to help Indian students succeed.
Topics include language, culture, teacher recruitment and racism.
Indian students are about 11 percent of the population in South Dakota public schools.
