Senate hearing on Interior Department backlogs

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee is holding a hearing this Thursday on backlogs at the Interior Department.

The committee notice lists backlogs in land-into-trust applications, environmental impact statements, probates, appraisals and lease approvals.

The hearing takes place at 9:30am in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Building. A witness list hasn't been released.
