Native man charged with death of two daughters

A man from the Yellow Quill First Nation in Saskatchewan has been charged with criminal negligence in connection with the deaths of his two daughters.

Kaydance Pauchay, 3, and her one-year-old sister, Santana, were found frozen to death on January 29 and January 30. They were wearing little more than diapers and some light clothing.

Christopher Pauchay, 24, somehow left the girls outside on an extremely cold night, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He was suffering from frostbite and hypothermia when his daughters were found.
