Passamaquoddy police officers shoot armed man

Police officers for the Passamaquoddy Tribe of Maine fatally shot an armed man on the Indian Township Reservation on Monday.

The man reportedly lived off the reservation. Tribal Gov. Billy Nicholas said he came to see his girlfriend when police were called to the woman's home.

State authorities are investigating the incident.
