Tulalip Tribes 'Boom City' open for fireworks business
Just in time for fireworks season, the Tulalip Tribes "Boom City" is open for business in Washington.

Tribal members are allowed to sell fireworks for four weeks every year. This year, 154 booths have been set up in Boom City.

"These few weeks a year it really does become its own city," operator Mike Dunn told The Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He remembers when only 12 stands were open for business.

Donna Paul, another operator, goes all the way to China every year to buy her fireworks. She said her stand attracts several thousand people a year....
