The
Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame will recognize the achievements of tribal artists and musicians. this year.
The singers of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes will be inducted into the American Indian Tribal Music Traditions category. The singers are some of the state's earliest recording artists.
The
Cherokee National Youth Choir will receive the Governor's Award, a rare honor that has only been given out twice.
The ceremony will be held October 8.
