The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has purchased a former JCPenney store in downtown San Bernardino, California.
The 200,000 square-foot property was an anchor store in the Carousel Mall. Most of the mall is vacant now.
The tribe hasn't said what it will do with the former store. The city hopes to redevelop the entire mall.
