Blackfeet family shocked over death of 2-year-old boy

A family from the
Blackfeet Nation in Montana gathered on the reservation on Saturday to remember James Many White Horses II, a two-year-old boy whose badly decomposed body was found last week.
James was last seen with his mother, Summer Many White Horses, on July 21. Up until a few days ago, family members believed James was being cared for in Great Falls.
But authorities there say Many White Horses killed James and had him in the trunk of her car since May. His body was found on Friday after Many White Horses told police about it.
Police say Many White Horses, 31, failed to disclose the whereabouts of her son when she was arrested following a July 21 incident in which the car was impounded. She now faces deliberate homicide charges.
