Cocopah Tribe helps patrol US-Mexico border
The Cocopah Tribe of Arizona is working with the U.S. Border Patrol to stop immigration.

The tribe is using SUVs with police equipment to track activity at the border. The tribe is also installing vehicle barriers on the reservation, which shares seven miles with the Mexico border.

In 2005, the tribe told an all-volunteer "Patriots" border patrol group to stay off the reservation.
