Saginaw Chippewa Tribe pushes recycling
The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan is cutting down on waste among its employees.

Employees of the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort were using more than a million disposable cups a year. But now they are using reusable cups and mugs.

Other tribal departments are now taking similar steps to reduce waste. Recycling has saved 18 tons of trash from landfills.
