Quechan man's death still being investigated
Authorities in California continue to treat the death of a Quechan Nation man as suspicious.

Lewis Jefferson, 21, was found November 26 by railroad tracks near the reservation. Authorities say he was struck by a train.

Results of an autopsy and a toxicology report aren't being disclosed for now. The Imperial County Sheriff's Office still wants to talk to a few people about Jefferson, who was a well-known traditional singer and was running for a seat on the tribal council The election took place a few days after his death.
