Arizona State Museum cancels Indian fair
The Arizona State Museum has canceled the 2010 Southwest Indian Art Fair due to cuts in the state budget.

The fair takes place every spring at the University of Arizona campus. Organizers hope to find money to hold the event in 2011.

"We think this fair is important, and whatever happens this year we hope to bring it back bigger and better in 2011," museum director Beth Grindell told The Arizona Daily Star.

The museum has hosted the fair for 16 years.
