Saginaw Chippewa Tribe to hold runoff for seat
The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan will hold a runoff to decide the result of one council seat.

Fred Cantu Jr., the incumbent chief, lost by one vote to Julius Peters. He requested a recount that turned up an addition vote for him.

The tie now means a runoff for the District 1 council seat. The election will take place on December 1.
