Margo Jean Lucero, a member of the San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians, was found dead in her family's home in southern California and authorities want to question her son.
Lucero, 53, was found on Tuesday. While local police were investigating, her car was found abandoned near Tucson, Arizona.
Local. police eventually learned that the Tohono O'odham Nation had arrested someone for trespassing. The man was booked into a jail in Tucson, where authorities identified him as David Leroy Lucero, 25, Margo's son.
The North County Times said San Diego County sheriff's homicide detectives are traveling to Arizona to interview Lucero, who had lived at the home with Margo and her husband, David Lucero, who is Luiseno.
