Tanana Chiefs Conference plans to create damp shelter
The Tanana Chiefs Conference is working on establishing a shelter for homeless chronic inebriates in Fairbanks, Alaska.

The leader of the organization's Justice Task Force has met with Christian organizations and plans a visit a damp shelter in Seattle, Washington. “Next year, even if it means we have to throw mats or cots down on the floor somewhere, if that’s what we need to do to have a shelter for chronic inebriates, that’s what we’ll do,” Shirley Lee sad at TCC's annual conference, The Fairbanks Daily News Miner reported.

The conference continues today and ends tomorrow.
