Agenda for Senate Indian Affairs Committee business meeting
Update: An agreement has been reached on the IHS subpoena so it has been taken off the agenda. The agreement will be discussed at the business meeting tomorrow.

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold a business meeting and oversight hearing tomorrow morning.

Three items are on the agenda for the business meeting. They are:
Subpoena power over the Indian Health Service. The last time the committee issued a subpoena was during the Jack Abramoff scandal.
H.R.3553, the Indian Veterans Housing Opportunity Act. The bill was passed by the House in April.
S.3235, the Helping Expedite and Advance Responsible Tribal Homeownership (HEARTH) Act. The bill was introduced in May.
