President Obama hosts White House Tribal Nations Conference





President Barack Obama is hosting the third White House Tribal Nations Conference in Washington, D.C., today.

Hundreds of tribal leaders are attending the event. It takes place at the Sidney R. Yates Auditorium at the Department of the Interior, where the first two conferences were held.

Starting at 8:30am, Obama is expected to address tribal leaders. He will be present until around 10am, when the event goes into closed press.

Obama is expected to return to DOI this afternoon, around 2:20pm, to make some final remarks. The White House is scheduled to webcast this portion of the conference at www.WhiteHouse.gov/Live.
