The Blackfeet Nation of Montana is considering a settlement to its trust management lawsuit.

The settlement isn't final but the Obama administration has reportedly offered $19 million. The lawsuit was filed in 2002.

The Department of Justice has been negotiating with 75 tribes to settle their trust cases, Kim Teehee of the White House said at the National Congress of American Indians on Tuesday.
