San Manuel Band chooses Carla Rodriguez as new leader

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians in California will swear in a new leader next month.

Carla Rodriguez was elected chair. She will begin her term on April 16.

Rodriguez is the aunt of outgoing chairman James Ramos. He decided not to seek re-election because he is running for 3rd district supervisor in San Bernardino County.
