The Bureau of Indian Affairs is being sued over Ho-Chunk Nation land-into-trust documents.

The tribe submitted an application for 600 acres in Baraboo, Wisconsin, more than a year ago. Officials in Sauk County have been asking the BIA for copies of the documents but they say they haven't received all of the information they want.

The county is suing the BIA under the Freedom of Information Act. The lawsuit claims the agency has failed to meet deadlines in the law.

The tribe is planning to use the land for an IMAX theater, restaurant, cultural heritage center, strip mall and RV park.
