Moapa Band to file second lawsuit over coal-fired power plant

The Moapa Band of Paiute Indians in Nevada says it will file another lawsuit that targets a coal-fired power plant next to the reservation.

The tribe plans to sue the Environmental Protection Agency, state officials and NV Energy. The lawsuit will contend the Reid Gardner power plant has submitted false reports about pollution levels.

The tribe already filed a lawsuit against the EPA to challenge pollution standards.
