Senate Committee on Indian Affairs postpones hearing on bills





The Senate Indian Affairs Committee has postponed a legislative hearing that was scheduled for tomorrow.

The committee was going to take testimony on S. 235, to provide for the conveyance of certain property located in Anchorage, Alaska, from the United States to the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, and S. 920, to allow the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa in the State of Minnesota to lease or transfer certain land.

A new date for the hearing hasn't been announced.

Since the start of the 113th Congress, the committee has only held one legislative hearing. No bills have been reported out.
