Former housing director for Eastern Shoshone Tribe sentenced

The former housing director for the Eastern Shoshone Tribe of Wyoming was sentenced to probation in a theft case.

Joanne Lynn Seesequasis, 45, pleaded guilty to a single felony count of conversion of federal money from a tribal organization. She admitted she fraudulently claimed overtime pay.

Seesequasis will serve three years of probation and will repay $45,000 to the federal government.
